12×16 Shed foundation.

I am planning on building a 12×16 shed and I am seeking some answers:

1.   I didn’t plan on buildin it on a concrete foundation; instead, I wanted to use 6×6 posts.  I am in Michigan.  Is this the best solution for my foundation?

 

2.  I was planning on using 2×10 floor joists.  I realize that’s a large distance to span a 2×10, so I am seeking a solution to support the span (12′) as well.

    12' is not a long span for 2x10's  on 16" centers.
