   I was going make him a Matt Kenseth #16, But then I would've had to drag it acrossed the asphalt, roll it through the grass, light it on fire then hang it upside down.................. and of coarse I'd never get to finish it.

   Nice clock.  The Busch race is tonight here in Richmond, and the nascar race is tomorrow.  Happens twice a year here, big bost to the economy. 

   Denny Hamlin grew up in the Richmond area, and he comes back to do a Thursday night race at the local short track where he did his apprenticeship.  1/4 mile I think, I can hear it from my house."Put your creed in your deed."   Emerson

   I worked in the pits for the #01 car that day.  After they got the wreck off the roll-back, I walked over to take a closer look.

   Unbelieveable that these guys stay intact.

   The only thing more destroyed  that weekend was Carl's Cup car 24 hrs later.

   Expensive weekend for the Cat in the Hat.The best reward for a job well done is the opportunity to do another.
