2″ furring for vinyl siding projection

Hello. I am drafting CD set for new 2 story single family house in north East USA. Please see attached sketch. I need to project vinyl siding  about 2″ (for aesthetic reasons) . And this projection goes diagonally, so some of it goes over second floor and some on first floor.  Structurally will this 2×6 wall hold this furring with sheathing and vinyl siding? And part of furring will attach on concrete as well above grade. Is this the right way to do it? Any other concerns or suggestions for this detail please?
