I have windows that are 20 years old. The storm window part is on the inside of the window and the windows (double hung) have missing spring assemblies that span the side and put tension in the track to hold them up. Does anyone know who is the manufacturer (there is a label that says Capital Products Corp.-where are they now) or how i can find the springs, etc. for the sides?

The most common way to make your own parging mix is to use either Type S mortar for block or Type N for brick and add a concrete bonding additive.

Bren,
In Dallas there are several weather stripping companies who specialize in just weather stripping (no doubt). One such company that I work a lot with has catalog after catalog of such items. We had a job many years ago where the customer wanted custom made double hung windows. The weather strip company came out and put in springs for each window.
I'm sure if you call a local weather strip company, they can help you.
Good luck,
Ed. Williams
