Rich, what are they replacing it with?
My son is looking for a mini s and it's going to be a bit of a bother to bring it over to this side of the border.
Any first hand opinion on the mini?
"Rich, what are they replacing it with?"A VW Beetle. They are selling the Mini because they decided they really can't afford it."Any first hand opinion on the mini?"I never drove it, so I don't know. Damn cool car, but I'm not sure how I'd feel about it on the freeway next to 18 wheelers. As far as I know, they like it, they just don't want to make the payments yet.Rich BeckmanAnother day, another tool.
Wife and I have a blue '98 Beetle with 134k miles on it (I think - I may be off by a few). Anyhow, she want's a Mini next.
It's been well cared for - let me know if you want all the particulars and are interested in a trade+$ deal. . .
We are in WI and would drive to Cinci or do a halfway swap, I suppose. . . .
Let me know.
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear. They have already acquired the Beetle.Doesn't make sense to me, but then so little does.Rich BeckmanAnother day, another tool.
Of course - two payments are cheaper than one, right? Maybe that will make them feel that much more ahead when they sell the Mini. . . .
Thanks for the reply. It was worth a shot on our end just to ask. When I read it, I thought it was fate!
regards,
Jim

Nothing came to waste, you can always buy the mini first then sell your beetle.
what type gas mileage do those puppies get.. 2+3=7

DW's Cooper S gets about 35 highway - with a 6 speed.
Not bad, but not great considering that they like premium.
What can I say? I have a F250 diesel.....The older I get, the better I was....

no ladder racks?
"no ladder racks?"Yeah, I think it would fit on the ladder racks. Probably have to avoid low clearance briges, drive-throughs, etc.Rich BeckmanAnother day, another tool.x
Ladder rack on top and put wheels on your gang box and pull it behind, now there's a rig ready to work.
Naw, get a closed in trailer and use if for the garage and toolshed.
Sounds nice and I'm in Dayton OH. I'll ask around.
Price is now reduced.
$13,500.
