Is it correct that the energy tax credits were suspended for 2008? I’m talking about credits for home improvements like doors, windows, insulation, etc. I see they are available for improvements made in 2009, but what about last year?
thanks

You don't have to sacrifice historical elements of a house in the name of energy efficiency.

There were no residential tax credits for 2008...bummer...
Check out this site. It will tell you and then show you what tax credits were started Jan. 1, 2009. Be sure to understand the guidelines of what is considered/defined as "Residential"...outside buildings with energy upgrades are not considered...like a Pellet Stove for the hobbiest's workshop....
