I typically do my own electrical but I have a question on 220 lines. Can I run the stove and dryer off one 220 line or does two lines have to be installed? I have them on seperate now but want to move the dryer upstairs in the garage. The stove is on the other side of the wall and I wanted to avoid running a new line up from the basement across the entire house to the garage. If it won’t meet code then it’s a no brainer.

They have to be separate. Typically the stove is a 40 amp circuit and the dryer a 30 amp. They have diferrent plugs as well.
