My customer has asked for a pull-out table for her new kitchen. I ordered a german made piece of hardware, fits in the drawer aperture, fit a false front, looks like a normal drawer, pull it out and it’s a 3 foot long table. The time has come to fit it. Took it out and studied it. Very nicely made. The instructions are total cr4p. Why is it that hardware manfacturers will not provide a drawing or a photo of what the item will look like when it is made up? It’s all very well them providing a diagram providing showing where to drill the holes but it would be nice to know I had it the right way up.
I’ve overcome this type of snag before, too many times. The general rule is that the second one is much quicker, trouble is, I’m only installing one!

Put it in at least twice....
Who ever invented work didn't know how to fish....
Let me guess, it's one of those trick Hafele items. If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
It's made by K+B. I'm making progress with it, good job I like 3d jigsaw puzzles. The instruction sheet (single page, four languages, looks like a 3rd generation photo copy) provides tantalising clues. I've fixed the runners to the carcase, and I've cut the boards that form the table top and will now try fitting the hardware to them. If it all works then I will measure how much the height and depth are wrong by, and refix the runners in the correct position.
When I've got the whole thing installed and working correctly I will then decide whether to offer them to subsequent customers, and if so, at what price!

Lemme guess, this is a contract price job and not cost plus....
