Admittedly not the hardest problem posed here…
I’ve got to install a bunch triple track aluminum storm windows (tru-channels) on my 2nd story windows. I can’t really see an easy way to do this – climb the ladder with the storm (which is not so light), caulk around the edge of the storm while at the top of the ladder, then screw in the storm.
I know this is not so complicated – but anyone got any tips to make this easier/safer? Seems like a recipe for falling off the ladder or getting caulk all over everything.

Yep. Two ladders with a plank between 'em. Or scaffolding. Short of that, first caulk the window, not the storm, and tack the storm in with a nail or two to hold it in place while you put the screws in.
