Is this correct… or at least safe? The picture was scanned form the Taunton “Wiring a House” book by Cauldwell. I added the multiple lights. I’m sure those that know what they are doing will see this as a really stupid question but hey… I’m always asking stupid questions. I’m thinking that to make the single light, 3-way switch diagram in the book work for multiple lights I only need to add the additional lights in parallel. Am I way off base here? How about adding a dimmer? Put the dimmer at one end and a standard 3-way switch at the other? Would (6) recessed lights in this circuit be too much for a single dimmer? I’m thinking the smaller (4″) Juno cans and a 15 amp breaker.
Thanks in advance for any help.

That wiring diagram will do, there are several different way to wire in a 3 way.
As for the lights, yes the all go in parallel with the first. All dimmer switches have a maximum amperage/wattage rating so just stay within those boundries.
Dimmer at one end only, sounds like you got it!
