30 X 20 outdoor patio cover question

I want to expand my backyard cover patio. It is attached to the house on two sides. It will be a 30’X 20′ rectangle with two sides attached to the house ( an L shaped formed by one 30′ side and one 20′ side attached to the house) The other two sides are the view to the backyard. I want to have a span of 30′ One side supported by a column attached to the house and the other side just by a column, so I ca have a great view. it is 20′ deep. So the 20′ side that is not attached to the house would support it with the same column that supports the 30″side and another column attached to the house. The weight it will support is the cover and no storage or other weight. Is this posible? I want to avoid putting another support in the center of the 30″to have a better view and space.

It all depends on what you mean by cover, and how much it weighs.
Also have to consider any loads from snow or rain on top of the cover.
I will say this again, engage a structural engineer and he/she will be able to tell you post dimensions and beam size. Plus you will be able to sleep at night. It doesn't cost that much.
