It will be hard to tell you where to buy it unless you tell us where you are.
I can tell you that a company named RMAX sells what your looking for. Thermasheath 3 and comes in 1" to 4" thicknesses
Did you call Lumber Yard?
The local yard here can order it, and have on the next truck, (which means next Tuesday).
The yards over in the big towns two or three hours from here stock it.
Most yards (around here anyway) stock R-Max in 3/4, 1, 1 1/2 and 2 inch, but they can order others, and it will be here within a week. That means that you will want to know exactly how much you need, since it is not easy to go back and pick up two more sheets (wait another week) and they get kind of grouchy with returns on items that are special orders...
