511 Impregnator Used On Granite Counter
“Surface Treatment Technologies makes a solvent based sealer called SB. NO odor, very easy to use, competitive pricing, WAAYYY better than 511…”
I want to know if I can reapply a solvent based impregnator or sealer without removing the 511?
Is it easier to wait for 6 months and then to apply (no stripping involved) a new solvent based sealant/impregnator?
I also want to know where to buy the above SST products?
How long will my 511 Impregnator treatment last?
Is there truly a 5 year, or 10 year, or lifetime granite sealing/impregnating product or will I have to repeat the treatment every 6 to 12 months?
I live on the west coast of Florida.
Thank you.

What does your granite supplier recommend?
I have done a number of granite countertops for kitchens. IMHO I think the add ons are a waste of time. Granite by its very nature is standalone and the tops I have done have stood up very well some for as long as 20 years. And remember most kitchens get remodeled more frequently than 20 years.
