Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Do you know what is going on with the windows in the 2nd picture.
I see one has a grid and the other one does not. Is that a surface applied or what?
I have seen where a lead tape with an adhesive back is used to give that leaded glass look and was wonder if that is what was used here.
those are 2 doors leading off the main bathroom upstairs onto a deck. It is wood on the inside of the door, which is just glues to the moulding on the door. Hope that is the pic your reffering to...Second Chance Renovations and Repairs
I guess that is the one, it is borgereastside.jpg. I can see that one of them will go out on a deck, but the other one looka like it will open on the gable roof.

thx..it was alot of work..but the end result the HO was very happy..ALL the lumber was recycled from a couple grain elevators that he bought last yr, and were milled at my friends lumber yard. All the tounge and groove was also milled and the flooring was milled all from the elevators. It is located at a lake just outside Regina, Sask, Canada. Thx for the info on the pictures ill find it and use it in the future..sorry to the guys that couldn't see it....
