I’ve acquired (for free) an old Craftsman 8″ table saw, model number 103-24242- without a motor. I’m looking for motor specifications. Craftsman does not supply parts for it.
What would be appropriate motor capacity for this saw? What’s an appropriate blade rotation speed? The available voltage is 120.

One horse should do ya fine. No more than two at the most. Somewhere about 3600 RPM for the blade. Here's a good place to learn a whole bunch about motors:
