Hey Folks,
Well, I’ve given up on my business but not my house. We’re just about done. I just have to lay the lower floor wood and build a few cabinet doors and thats it. FINALLY!!!

Mike, hoofhearted,
No such thing as 90something% done. Are you guys married? Then at best you is 75% done. Don't believe me? Ask you wifes!
Oooo, good point!
Usually that would be true but under the circumstances now having been working on our house right at two years, my wife would move in tomorrow if I let her. I keep adding all these things to do and she keeps saying forget them, lets just move in.
Patience, honey...patience.
Mike
man you and I are on the same boat....exacly.. I have also been working on this house for a little over 2 years and my wife thinks I pay too much attentyion to detail.. All I got left to do is the Master shower tile and thats' it...after that is stain the kitchen cabinets but as far as what she thinks...She wishes I had two more arms... She's going crazy...It's so close. so,so close... There's been a lot of sacrifices done... You guys can see our home here..

Mikey, Hoofy,
I want to trade wifes! We've been working on our new house for...lets see...almost 4 years now. She thinks it's fun. She always wants to help. She did help me install the cabinets, lots of neo angles and offset wall cabinets with granite tops. We get a lot of compliments on the kitchen and she always makes it a point to tell everyone that she helped. I always reply that with her 'help' I installed the kitchen in a week. How long would it have taken me without her 'helping'?.....3 days. I will say this, she spent two full days cleaning up after the brickies, moving bricks and broken bags of mortor to a fill hole.
