I am about to build a basement bathroom using a Sanibest system from Saniflow and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this unit? (pros or cons)
My dilemma is venting this system. Would wet venting work? I have access to all the other plumbing from below. If this is not an option can I tap into and existing vent in one of the two bathrooms above? What about a lateral vent? or a mechanical vent?

A mechanical vent (air admitance valve, Studor) won't work with a sewer injector pump.
It needs to allow air to flow in both directions. Out will filling and in when pumping.
You can tap into a 1st floor vent above the fixture rim.
That said I have heard of a model that does not need a vent. I suspect that it uses a combination of a mechanical vent and several check valves so that the discharge line can allow air out via the mainline when filling.
But I don't have any idea of the details and I suspect that it will only work on all installations.
.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Thanks - Any comments from any others on my questions.
As Bill said if you tie the vent into the upper bathrooms above the flood level you will be fine.
Page 2 of the directions illustrates this.
