A couple questions, couple hours work and I can call for my mechical inspection,
On sheetmetal pletnum connection to round sheetmetal duct, is they a sealer or putty to seal.
What about the connection on ducts.
what is mastic?
Can I put pink board on the pletnum in the a/c closet, does it violate code?
What type hangers for the round duct?

There is aluminum tape specifically made for air ducts, about 2" wide
As for insulating the ducts use mineral wool (usually yellow color) with a foil backer.
Don't get mad, get a bigger hammer!
