His is on the right and the other went to my step-daughter.

I surface planed the flooring to 3/8, then I ripped them close to finish width on tablesaw.
Then I set a stop on mitre box, cut to length, rotated piece 90 and cut width.
Glued to a 1/4 paneling 1/4 larger than finished board.
Cut rabbet in trim to fit paneling overhang.
