I just got my internet service back up and running and thought I would post a couple pics of two projects we completed while I was away from here.

Ok Luka, I need help. I am trying to attach pictures, I cliked on the attach files button and waited and w a i t e d........... and nothing happened. What is up with the system?
Thanks, Tim
Got some kind of new popup blocker or new security software? Matt
As a matter of fact I do. I didn't even think about that possibly stopping the attachment window from opening. Thanks
I just tried turning off my pop up blocker and it still will not let the window open. Looks like I'll have to dig around on my system a little more.

Give me a step by step rundown of what you are doing, and what happens...You said you just got your internet service back up and running... Do you need to reset a firewall or proxy or something ?

Luka,
When I tried to post pictures, clicking the attach files button did nothing. As far as having the internet back up and running, I still have the same settings on my firewall that I was using before, so I don't think it is the problem.
I have Norton internet security (which has all the popular blockers- spam, pop-up, etc..) I went to the settings menu and turned off the pop-up blocker for Norton.
My daughter just installed yahoo messenger. I think it also has a pop-up blocker, but I can't find out how to turn it off.
I am going to remove yahoo messenger, as it is the only change that has been made to the system since I was last able to post pics.
Thanks for helping, TimTCW Specialists in Custom Remodeling.
I would definately uninstall the messenger. But, just in case, go into the preferences for the program first, and turn off the popup blocker and any other such thing. Then uninstall it.Sometimes those things will make a change in the registry somewhere, that will not get changed back when you uninstall it.It does seem logical for that to be it. If that is all that has been changed. As for the Norton, I believe someone else was having the same problem, and had to turn off more than just the popup blocker in Norton. Maybe that someone will come along and help out. I don't know any more about norton than that.

Tim, I believe service pack 2 of Windows XP also has a pop-up blocker. If you bring up your Internet Explorer and click on "tools", do you see an option called "pop-up blocker" ?
If so, turn it off.jt8

I finally got it to work. Well I didn't, my technologically superior son helped me reset some of the security settings on my 'puter.

Sorry about the file sizes on these pics. I don't have photo shop installed anymore.
These are shots of a Cypress entry door that has an operable speakeasy door in the center.

Looks good, Tim. How was that cypress to work with? jt8

Thanks, John
The Cypress really wasn't bad to work with. I get kiln dried lumber from a source in Jacksonville, FL. The down side to it was that all the boards were between 5" and 6" wide. The client wanted the look of wider planks, so we glued up the blank for the door, then set up a guide and used a router with a v-grooving bit to create the look of joints where we wanted them. Actually, I think it worked out better than trying to use wider boards, since the narrower pieces were easier to keep flat and straight.TCW Specialists in Custom Remodeling.
