Looks like you came up with a great idea. Beautiful work,
What is the counter top made of?
Cag, thanks... the counter is just MDF- gonna be faux finished to look like stone of some sort (a funky granite that was priced out of this world)
Looks nice! Nice design, nice construction. I really like the pull-out work surface.
Speaking of countertops, I saw a countertop in another magazine, and they used 12 x 12 granite tile instead of solid granite on their kitchen counters. I think they used 1/16" grout lines. It looked great, and cost tons less than solid granite. Can't wait till my wife gives me the "all clear" to tear into our kitchen!
Keep up the good work!
thanks Bob- I've seen the granite tiles run on counters without grout joints too.
What, you don't want to spend 90-190 a sq ft on counter top :)
By the way is that lady in that drawing topless???
Nice job! Judging from the items on the shelves you are really into pot.
No, I swear mr. Armin, that there is the ladys pots!!
Looks great; thanks for sharing!
One question (probably something I should bring up in another thread, but your pictures reminded me); how did you do the raised-panel doors for the cabinets? I have a couple projects that I want to do some raised panels for, but short of buying a large router w/ table and the necessary router bit, is there an easier way to do it with just a tablesaw? I've done a little searching on-line and haven't found anything.
TIA,
Ron
