Been working on this basement bath on off for the past 60 days. No rush with the HO they understand its just side work & the house has 3 other baths. First time for me on the floor heat grid, seems pretty cut & dry for the install. About $360 for the material (high $ t-stat $150+) .
Did all of the work including the drywall, its nice to be able to keep the skills in tune.
Hope to finish in the next few weekends.

Hope you don't mind my asking but why wasn't the grout lines on the smaller pieces of tile along the front edge and across the top not lined up with the big tiles in the main part of the shower? Other then that it looking good.

Just going for the random look, guess we could have line -up but once the shower door is on don't think it will matter much!
I've used that mat or similar a coupla times ...
they try to scare ya into thinking it made with gold foil ...
"don't even look at it or it'll break"!
did ya get the tester? LoudMouth ... nice for piece of mind tests ... regular tester can be wired up .. but I made the GC who I did them for kick up the tester in the first order too ... then ... he didn't let me steal it? What's up with that ....
Looks good.
have heard nothing but raves from the customers about the warm bath tiles.

Skipped on the tester, still looking for my tile nippers. Like I got time to go get a tester. (hope I don't eat them words) .
Got to get this one done. My other bud has some more stuff he needs help with so this weekend were going to kick it in gear & have a Grout-Fest!
I have all the base pre paint by my son, Ped sink, elect finished (2 cans, 2 switchs& 1 outlet),
Best part of the deal is the Dw will get some new tires fo her ride if I can pull a check in the next week.
Wish I could line up 5-6 jobs like this a year. HO has been real kind & no problem to work with.
wait ... wait... wait ...

No, he is a good kid, 16 & does the best he can. Glad he does not do .001% of the lame $ it I did when I was his age.
Still got to install the pedestal sink & a few other items.
Guess I should read what I write before I post. then I might even understand what I am saying.
