I need step by step instructions for adding photos to my postings. I have a new digital camera and I need to know how to post pictures to this and other forums. Can someone help with this?

Hammertime, try these instructions
I'm not one of the "experts", but I do know little words..........
pop that disc in the ol puter
start a message like you always would
clik on the button that says Attach Files..a window will open
clik on the button that says Browse...a window will open
find the file(picture) you want to upload ans double clik it
that window will close and now clik Upload button
Wait.....wait.....wait...... when the window changes the upload is
complete.
If you wish to add more pictures...repeat
when you are done uploading pictures...
clik Done
and post your message.
also check out irfan view to reduce the size of your downloads, its easy and free
caulking is not a piece of trim
Arrowshooter-
If you do a search of Irfanview in the search function it will take you to this thread and others filled with the needed data for shrinking down the size of your files to make it more palatable for those on the forum using dialup.
Or just click on the 24441.1 post number here.

This program is a stable, safe, free download that many of us have been using for photo management and resizing. It is a good thing to keep photos under about 70KB to post online. For me that means sizing to 640 x 480 pixels @ 72/inch and saving as a JPG. The post here just about fits the message display screen then and is a faster download than some of those we can get tha ttake five minutes to bring down with a modem. Lots of rural areas still have no DSL, folks.
. Excellence is its own reward!
