Looking for some advice on how to remove tile from a wedi shower pan, curb, and wall. The incorrect grout was used on the original install of river stone tile on the shower pan and now I need to replace it as the grout is compromised. Thinking I will also need to remove and replace the first row of wall tile (12×24 porcelain tile) as well as the tile on the curb (both the side facing the shower and the top) to apply a new waterproof membrane. Here are my questions:

1. Is it possible to remove tile on the walls/curb without damaging the wedi material?
2. Do I need to apply the membrane on top of the curb or is that overkill?
3. Should I apply thinset to the pan prior to applying the membrane?
