Anyone in the US watching the price of timber climbing?
With the ongoing dispute started by representatives of timber producing states in Congress, a huge portion of the mills here in British Columbia (just north of Washington state, 2½ times the size of Texas) have shut down. Our largest exporter is suing the US government under Chapter 11 of NAFTA. Home Depot says they are going to have to find wood in Europe.
Every time the price goes up, we all loose business.
