My wife had several rooms, one a small bath done with vinyl – good grade stuff, put over concrete floor – glued down, installed by a very good company. one room has a few air bubbles develop a week later. they are coming back to fix it. air bubbles are a seperation from the cement under the sheet tile.
what causes that?

off gassing from the glue, moisture content of the cement, hard to say
let us know the solution
caulking is not a piece of trim
Maybe the glue was applied a little thick and wasnm't allowed to off gas before the vinyl was applied.Do it right, or do it twice.
sounds logical to me, but what now?caulking is not a piece of trim
Did they roll it, did they do a moisture test, is the slab on or below grade I would never do below grade with out doing a moisture test, if the problem is moisture repairs are only going to be temporary, it will probably happen again. They will inject adhesive with a hypo and syringe make sure they seal punctures with appropiate seam sealer the one recommended by the manufacturer not a generic. 99% of the time bubbles are an installation problem not material,even the best installers have problems some times.
Thanks
guys.
cement is above grade and I think dry, 15 years old, was rolled but with a small roller as its a small office powder room (no tub).
will let you know the cure.
