Just got a brand new air compressor. I haven’t used them very often so this may be a simple question.
I assumed that the compressor would come with a quick-connect valve on it – instead it just seems to have what I’d call a hose valve. Image attached.
How do I convert that to quick connect? I’m going to be using it to power a media blaster pot.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Unscrew the brass fitting that is barbed to accept a hose, and replace it with an air hose quick connect fitting. Teflon tape or an alternate thread sealant is a good idea.
These fittings are sold many places. Do you already have the hose you want to use to Connect? The blaster pot may also need fittings.
