   I've yet to find reviews on the C2005 special buy flavor.   I don't know if that's because it's short lived or maybe just too new.

   I think that may be one of those special Home Depot only models.  I can't even find anything on it on the porter cable website..  I saw some reconditioned ones being sold by Toolking.  Stuff like that doesn't give me a real good feeling, but it's probably OK.  Those type of compressors are known for making ear splitting noise.

   Light Duty Compressor

   Consider a Semco small compressor.  I really like the one I bought as it is small and easy to carry around.  I bought it for finish work but have used it for framing.  It was reasonably priced.

   best air compressor for home use

   If you need a family to use air compressor, I recommend that you use the Porter - Cable CMB15, it is very light in weight, the noise is very small. I didn't use PC C2005, so I can't help you.http://www.aircompressorreviewspro.com/
