Could you at least start out listing SOME of the tools you have to sell, and what you want for them?
I might be interested in some of the Lie-Neilsen planes, if you could give us an idea of what you have.
But I'm not gonna keep asking if you have this or that...
bumping the thread

Can you tell me about the biscuit joiner? What have you got, and what are you asking for it?

got a lamello too, gotta put a value on it yet.
I'm going to take photos tomorrow and post them,.... I tried today, but my files were too huge.
thanks for the interest all.
This link to old photo process threads may be able to help you resize the pics.

Why the heck would you sell all your tools?

Think he's being tapped by O'Bama for a position in the new admin?

He'll never make it through the vetting process.
the straw that broke the camel's back?
I've been going above and beyond the call my entire career... giving 100%.
my clientele was appreciative enough for the longest time, but it has been steadily getting worse.... now they want me to deliver a rolls royce for the price of a kia. this guy I built a mantel for (it's on the fine homebuilding website buried in the archives somewhere) is a big wig yacht broker.... asks me to come and make some minor punch list repairs to a million dollar searay thats being scheduled to launch any day..
"we have a budget of about $200" he tells me.
last time I drove across town in my cube van full of tools, worked six hours in the cabin of a yacht in hundred plus degree heat, I gave him a bill of $450 or so, and he balked. that was like pulling teeth to get satisfaction, and he had the nerve to try to dictate his price again? I'll fix rotten wood for as little as $25 an hour... but I won't pull out the 'A' skills for a multi millionaire for the same price. unreasonable prima donna? perhaps.
but, I can stay home and lose money, so thats what I'll do.
My BP just went up reading this last post of yours.Gee, I wonder why. You think maybe because I've had the same happen to me?You're right not to cow-tow.
I am not sure about selling the tools- keep 'em and stay home and not make any money.
I'd sooner sell my kids...
(too a good home of course.)No Tag
I dunno, I hear keywest is looking for another cry in his beer, back in the day drunken hasbeen to add local color... maybe I could apply for that position.*
*as long as no painters or roofers are applying.. it would be tough to compete with that!!!

Sounds all too familiar.
Don't let them beat you down, man. There are plenty of good folks who DO appreciate your services and are more than happy to show off your work to their friends.
