You need two "3-way" and two "4-way" switches. Wire up the two 3-ways just like a normal two-switch circuit, except insert the two 4-ways in the "traveler" line between the two 3-ways.
Diagrams should be on the switch boxes, if you buy the good ones.

This doesn't apply to your switch problem but leviton has a new wireless switch that works out to 50'. Got an A or B setting so you can use a couple in the same location,priced around 25 bucks.
