Aluminum Pump Jack Staging Recommendations
I’m in the market for some aluminum pump staging. I’ve looked online at Alum-a-pole, Werner and Qualcraft staging and can’t tell whether they are of equivalent quality.
Can you tell me what the best aluminum pump staging is and where is the best place to buy it (I live in Massachusetts)? I have seen sets listed on Craigslist and am inclined to buy a set from there provided it is in good condition.
Thanks!

i've looked at them all....but i still prefer alumapole...
we bought some used , some new
in this economy...there should be a lot of used available...
a good place to buy new is cape cod staging.... or try national lumber ... or beacon sales
We bought some used aluminipole scaffolding a few years ago off of craigslist and I love it.
Here's something I learned after having/using it - the 24' poles are heavy and kind of akward to set up and transport. I would rather spend more money ane have 2 12' plus the required connector than more 24 footers.
Something else - one of the local construction supply houses sells one brand...might be "Allumipole"...and I bought a different brand, I think it's Qual Craft. Anyways, point is, parts like standoff brackets interchange. Plan on buying several extra standoff brackets, they come in mighty handy for leapfrogging around overhangs. Plus, we used to rely on X bracing wooden pump jack posts for stability and that's not so easy to do with alluminum poles, so we use a lot more standoff brackets to stabilize tall set ups.
We have I don't know how many pump jacks for wooden posts, maybe 12? And there are times we do use them. But when I have a choice I always reach for the alluminum poles and jacks first. Pretty serious investment, but well worth every penny if you spend much time on scaffolding.
