Amazing Photos of the People we Love

| Posted in Photo Gallery on March 23, 2005 07:12am

I  think my boy is amazing. Here’s a pic.

I’m taking him out this weekend to catch Ling Cod, Rock fish and to see whales.

It’s a good life………….

And then they grow up before you know it. How time flies. It was just yesterday I was taking my little girl to ballet classes and teaching my boy to spit.

Enjoy this time with yours, put a brick on their head at night to slow them down so they don't grow uo to fast.

    You're hooked, aren't ya ???

It's O.K. to admit it. You've hung out here for a while, talked to everyone, and now you're addicted to Breaktime:

    http://forums.taunton.com/tp-breaktime/messages?msg=41028.6

    .

BTW - Always glad to see someone bragging about their kids. I've done it so much here that I think some of the folks just ignore my threads. (-:

When your pet bird sees you reading the newspaper, does he wonder why you're just sitting there, staring at carpeting?

      I'm hooked............it *IS* addicting.

There's a perverse little happy dance when I log in and there's a message "TO ME".

        What Sally Field speech?

Don't have any idea what you're referring to...

It's actually cute when you see the clip, but she's taken a huge amount of grief. You are right........a Jan Brady moment. LOL

Heartfelt-- Sally Field, Best Actress for "Places in the Heart," after having won in 1980 for "Norma Rae": "I haven't had an orthodox career, and I've wanted more than anything to have your respect. The first time I didn't feel it, but this time I feel it, and I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!" (1985)

She did a good job in that movie.  You almost forget its Sally Field...which is a sign of a good actor/actress when they call draw you into the character that much.

I suppose that was supposed to be an uplifting movie, but at the end I couldn't help but think, "they won, but she's still out of a job."

      Great thread, guys.

Some (hopefully unecessary) advice:  treasure every moment.  I lost one of mine a couple of years ago, and I thank God every day for every second we had him.

Don't let the everyday crap steal a minute from those relationships!

I didn't know what picture you were talking about because I'm using Mozilla and that picture of Joey you posted doesn't show up, there's nothing at all. Now I'm on Microsoft Outlook and I see the picture full screen right in your post. I don't get why it doesn't show up in Moziila.

I just scrolled through this whole thread and I can see Jeff Buck, JoeH, David Doud and Boss Hog's pictures right in there posts on Microsoft Outlook but with Mozilla I have to click on the attachments to see them. Your post there's no attachment at all to even click to see a picture but with Microsoft the picture is right there. I don't get it.

It's funny, until we had our first child last year, I really had no interest in other peoples kids, pictures etc. Now that I have my own, it has opened up a whole new world for me. These are all great pictures, thanks for sharing.

Here is my son Jackson with his birthday cake at his first birthday party last month. The second picture is him relaxing after the party thanks to my BIL. And for those who are concerned, of course the beer can was empty before my BIL gave it to him.

We'll she's beautiful! Your house is great, too!

I immediately wondered about the cast iron. That is a really amazing pot. My gran has a "soap making pot" that is about 5 feet in diameter that is a little like that. I collect griswold cast iron, so that kind of thing really interests me.

          Where did you get that?

Where did you get that?>>>>>It came with the house....Its original. Cold Spring Harbor (google the town if ya want....some pretty interesting stuff here) was a whaling town back when and I'm guessing that pot is really old....like hundreds of years old...The whaling musuem up the road wanted me to donate it to them....I told them to pizz off....lol...It belongs with this house....and looks cool here.

LOL - somehow an old cracked pot just seems to belong in the landscape of your house.

You've got a beautiful daughter there Andy, as you know, but are those Converse sneakers an accurate accessory to that period dress?

This is my sweet Ruthie. We were on a cruise in Alaska, this shot was in front of Marjorie Glacier and it was calving like crazy. The sheer joy and excitement on my wife's face makes this one of my favorite shots of her.

John, here's your pic in smaller form (before the dial-up folks have a chance to whine).

Gawd, I hope the youngest is a boy!  Can't imagine having THREE women in the house.. four would probably result in me moving into the basement! (which is bad, cuz I don't have a basement) ;)

      Cute kids.

Thanks for the resize. Youngest is a boy. I got it right the third time. ;)

I was feeling really outnumbered until he arrived and he's a Momma's Boy! At this time, the girls are more tough than he is. DW keeps teasing me saying he's going to be a ballerina! I'll get him whipped into shape before his first birthday.
