Hey y’all
My daughter Niko who lives in San Francisco needs a GC she can trust to help her put together some stuff in their new(Niko and her fiance’ Caleb) condo such as kitchen cabs they just bought etc etc etc.
Anyone know of someone thats ready to rock n roll or is everyone too busy that y’all know?
Thanks
andy

From what I've heard out there, the good ones are booked up for the next 8-10

Andy, I'm in the Bay Area (S.F.) area down the Peninsula, are they in SF proper ie downtown SF or in the surrounding area? This sounds like a deal where you should make an excuse to fly out West for a visit and help your daughter! ;-)
I don't know that the backlog is as piffin writes, ;-), but it's a mixed bag here, or can be. I hung all my own cabinets in a an owner-build (still going on) and have some carpenters that have been working with me who also were part of the company that framed my pad. Your daughter and son-in-law could look at my project where they might get an idea of what I expect out of myself and thus some of the guys doing side work for me.
Is the project going to require a GC? Are you talkin' electrical and plumbing work too? Demo, etc.?
Let me know if I can help them on this end: [email protected]
Thanks Wiley,
I forwarded your post to Niko.
I'll let you know what she said if she doesnt let you know first.
I wish I could fly out and help but what do I do with my four guys...I don't trust them alone here and I aint payin' em to fly with me...lol.
Also, I'll be flying out there for her wedding the first in Sept.
I wish I could do it then but she'll be too busy to think about it that week plus once again I need to get back here to keep my guys working.
See, thats what she gets for moving half way accross the world.
BE well and thanks

Hey Andy,
There are a couple of good guys who post regularly over at JLC's Finish Carpentry Forum.
Spacing on the names, but I'm sure you could do a quick post and get some info.

Thanks Kit, I'll check it out.
