In his first interview since the stroke, Ram Dass, 66, spoke with great difficulty about how his brush with death has changed his ideas about aging, and how the recent loss of two old friends, Timothy Leary and Allen Ginsberg, has convinced him that now, more than ever, is the time to “Be Here Now.”

Andrew,
I'll bet that thing has antique value!
that is back when PC made a real mans saw!
I'll also wager that it is almost as heavy as your wormburner.
Congrats.
Gotta love old well made tools.

Do not try this at home!
I am an Experienced Professional!
I'll bet that thing weighs as much as my worm. Thought you wanted one cuz you were tired of lifting weights?

It is cute though.
id say maybe twice the weight of a wormy. :)

I know.....my guess is it won't be my primary sidewinder but I just couldnt resist when I saw it. I may end up with more saws than Prodeck has hammers that we don't use.
I saw a saw...lol...on Ebay a few weeks ago.a never used real old B & D saw that I bid on. It ended up selling for almost $200 bucks. I wouldn't get that carried away but tell ya what, I think the one I bought is nicer..and its a PC.
Yep, I will have to crack er open when she arrives and clean and regrease her.
Wonder how old she is????

I've got a similar old P-C saw, for which I acquired the owner's manual (from P-C as I recall). The plug visible at the outboard end is for removing and greasing the bearing (yes, grease). IIRC (the saw's out in the barn and I'm lazy tonight), the gears use a grease cup, like the later but no longer produced P-C saws.
Nice, if heavy tool. Mine came attached to the radial arm saw accessory that P-C sold; I paid more than I'd like to mention because the saw was so darn pretty, but I've never actually used it for much.
Andy it's really a beauty. Ignore them all, they are just jealous (I know I am!
:)

I'd crack'er open and regrease the innards. Cool saw!
