Do any of you know where I can find a table that lists bevel and miter angles for cutting crown? I know that I can find the angles by laying the stock in the saw at an angle but I’d like to cut it flat. Online resources would be ideal.
Thanks!!

Check my AE site, in the owners notebook there is a crown tutorial.. "how to install crown moulding" or pop that into search engine, it should come up in the top 5 or so..

Joe Fusco's site allegedly has a page about compound miters. I don't keep a pointer to it because it doesn't work in my browser, but you might have better luck.
Here's the link from Gary Katz's site.

Have fun.

if you have a Palm PDA:
go to http://www.garymkatz.com/GaryKatzOnline-Links.htm
about 1/3 way down the page is "free software"
he has a compound miter calculator for the palm platform
works good, with an angle finder you can be dead-on -- real helpful when corners are way off of 90*
