I am installing a suspended ceiling in my daughters basement. I need to angle an area close to the stairs to get proper headroom. Is there a site that shows how to do this? I have seen the same type of angle done with drywall at the base of stairways. Any help would be great.

A good drywall/ceiling supply
will have some nice accoutrements besides the usual wall mold and t's.
Such as-wider wall mold-1-1/2" legs for instance.
Also, you might find 45 or 22-1/2 angled wall mold. this will take care of the bottom of the transition-a nip and a bend wil take care of t's and side wall mold.
Or, you can hand bend (fingers or block and hammer) to get that transition. Cushion (sort of) the surface you place the molding on before you deform it with block and hammer. That stuff scratches easily.
