I work in a small room doing ultrasound, in an office where the A/C hasn’t been balanced to compensate for the tremendous heat these things throw off.
Temp is up around 88deg. No windows. HVAC guys tried to push more cool air my way, but system is at limit.
We’re looking at a portable A/C unit to put in there. Would have to vent to ceiling system. No windows, no floor drain.
Any thoughts on what’s out there. I’m thinking one with auto shut-off if the bucket gets full. Read something about evaporative technology – does that work. ALso trying not to spend inordinate amount of money, as the office will be moving to new building within the year.

Movin' Cool is the best option for your situation, as far as I know. Call your local Trane Commercial Sales Office, parts counter. At least thats where we handle them.
For the drain install a condensate pump, and pump up and out.
And this sounds like a pretty good spot for a split system.
We've got one we use occasionally. It's not a commercial unit, but I imagine operation is the same. It works in 3 modes: fan only, dehumidifier, & a.c. When in the dehumidifier mode, the vent is not operational & you have to empty the tank when it fills. When using it as an ac, which is how we use it, the tank never fills. All of the humidity is exhausted thru the vent.
Don't know how it works, but it does.
