Cabinets look great. That ceiling reminds me of one of those MC Escher pictures.
Stacy's mom has got it going on.
Cool and I like the ceilings too.

looks good.
that deep stain makes everything look "richer" ...
2 Q's ...
the hood ... site or shop made?
and ...what's up with the missing pieces of undercab moulding ... the shorts returning to the wall near that hood? Just two more gonna be added or some fancy trick parts/pieces gonna go in?
I just had to move some undercab lights "back farter" today as the cheap designer can never remember to upsell and include light rail when she spec's undercab lights.
sure ... move them back so they can't be seen ... and so they also don't throw light where they're supposed to!
used to install for a crazy designer that insisted on using only pucks ... and if the counter top was gloss granite ... he'd skin the entire bottom of the run of cabs ...
so the reflection on the granite ... showing the bottom of the cab's ... looked like finished furniture up there ... all ya saw was the recessed pucks.
He was insane ... but it was a great look. Kills me now to do any less ...

i made the hood on site with cherry ply and then hauled it to a local finisher to match the cabinets. its a simple design really, much easier than building a "pyramid" style hood.
the light rail returns were left off to allow for a stainless steel back splash that is being made. ill go back to put them in after that is installed.
as for the skinned cab bottoms.... i really like the way it looks, i have only had one customer that actually wanted everything skinned. usually i only skin cabinets that sit up higher like over a pass-through or something.
