I am thinking that I am not going to use the latex stuff anymore. After ‘curing’ for a whole week, (and some even a couple months.), this stuff crumbles away at the slightest touch. I mean the slightest touch. It is essentialy puffy powder.
The only reason that I used the latex stuff in the first place is because you can hold the can upright to apply. Has anyone figured out a way to get the other stuff, (great stuff), outta the can and into spaces where you can’t fit the whole friggen can ?
I think they put the specific length straw on the can that they do because that’s about the longest the stuff will work through. I put a longer straw on, and the stuff started to expand inside the straw. Only got about halfway down the longer straw and stopped.
I have to reach back inside overhangs, etc, to seal small cracks. The can will not fit inside the overhang, and the straw is not long enough to reach even halfway. Also cannot get a caulk gun in there.
