Try phoning FHB and reporting back.
I’ve been having many log in problems since FH changed their system and had us reset pswd. It’s terribly hard to reach a person but their efforts didn’t help anything. After my third pswd reset it seems to be sticking. I’ve also had trouble with the last renewal of full access where I was double billed. Only half of the double billing has been refunded and it’s been a couple of months. Too bad. The magazine is great.

For anyone still having issues with digital access after renewing or starting a new membership here's what worked for me:
Go the the billing portal: https://subscribe.finehomebuilding.com/loading.do?omedasite=FHB_CustServ
and on the left side there is a black box with white text called "manage digital access" .
Under that, click "register" and it'll prompt you to either login again, or tell you no action is needed.
Once that is done you should have access.
This worked for me at least to get the paywall off after renewing.
What fixed the paywall issue for me was to go to the billing center page from your account profile, and under the header on the left side called " manage your digital access" click on register. It may prompt you to login again and after that it should clear the paywall online.
I phoned customer service and they helped me reset my password. It only took a few minutes when they did it at there end. Once I got into the site I reset my password to a stronger one and made sure it worked before I hung up. Apparently a lot of symbols don't work too well so keep that in mind if you use a password generator.
It's getting worse, instead of better. I paid for a three year renewal in March of 2021.
FHB/Tauntons has just about the worst customer service I run into online.
Digital editor here. Passed this issue on the to appropriate person and it should be resolved now. You may need to log out and log back in. Please let me know if there is still an issue.
I just had the same issue for at least the 3rd time in a few months. It’s very frustrating. But hopefully you’ve worked it out and it won’t keep happening.
This site has amazing content — it’s a shame to have anything get in the way.

Yes, I had to recreate password. Try clearing your cache, delete browser history, restart and try again.
I have had similar issues. I did get excellent telephone support to reset my password last month. But...the website still does not report my membership or payments correctly. Amazing, in this day, these continuing problems with subscription support.
