Hi,
Had a mildew problem on an exterior wood staircase which made it slippy. What can I use to increase the friction/grip on the treads after removing the mildew?
Thanks,
mike

Some people use stick-on strips.
I usually add some silica sand additive to the paint. A real paint store should have some silica sand additive as well as some other anti slip additives
The adhesive/abrasive stick on strips work pretty well

any other ideas or products? the adhesive strips I've used only last about a single season...
A textured truck bed coating might do the trick - if you don't mind black treads. It's basically durable gritty paint.
