What kind of ant. Some like moisture and if that’s the case, explain way more about the location of the shower, the type of foundation and floor system.

not sure of ant type, shower is against outside wall, concrete foundation, slab floor
Well, moisture could be your problem. Any other areas have ants, adjacent to the shower or any other water source?
Here in Ohio I know that carpenter (big black ants) love moisture, semi rotted wood and foam insulation.
