I’m getting ready to build a garage with painting studio above. Exterior finish will be plywood/batten. My builder has suggested a plywood product called ‘Breckenridge’ made, I think’ by Roseburg products. Does anyone have any experience working with this product? All comments appreciated.

Used it last year for soffits and plywood/batten siding. Seemed pretty alright. It has a rougher grain that the rough sawn ply I usually get.
The only bad thing with plywood/batten is if you have a section taller than 8'. It adds some flashing, but it's probably cheaper than real board and batten. Did some of that this last summer on the gable ends of a house. Turned out pretty nice. 1x12's with 1x4 battens.
Thanks, Grayling.
My builder reckons the rougher texture will hold the stain/sealer better than a smooth finish ply. We're aware of the flashing issue.
