Hi All,
I’m looking for recommendations on a good drywall sub for a basement remodel job. About $685 sq. ft., standard ceilings, a few soffits/bulkheads, looking for a level 4 finish.
Any places to consider/avoid?
Also: when priced by the square foot, is that by the square foot of the room, or the square foot of all the surfaces to be covered? May be a dumb question, but it means quite a difference in my estimate, and I’ve always done drywall on my own in the past…Any help would be appreciated.

Suface of wall/ceiling square foot. Wouldn't make sense the other way, how would you adjust for different ceiling heights?
