Manufactured T&G. Their website says they will send me a sample, but wondering if anybody has had ahold of it yet. Like wood, or more like plastic? Maybe its a cousin to Trex.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

I got my free sample today. Came in a real slick little package suitable for showing your clients. Hope somebody else sends for the sample so we can discuss it. http://www.tendura.com. Kinda like a cross between MDF and trex, I guess, preprimed 7/8 thick. And you can get nosing for it, too. We might all need this when the VG fir runs out.
*I have worked with Trex abit and find that it mills like good quality chocolate. If you get a chunk that you can play with, let me know. I like Trex but have had complaints about high heat. Maybe this stays cooler?
