Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

We have one in our company and it is indespensible in the right circumstances. It's perfect for precisely cutting out bricks without risking loosening surrounding bricks (which can happen if using a chipper).
