anyone using a delta saw t-2 fence
looking at buying a fence and putting it on a 1940’s wards cabinet saw. lowes has them for 150 and i just don’t see anything that might compete at that kind of money. so what cha think???
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE – WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN’T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN’T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.

Don't know anything about the Delta fence, but I have a 30" Biesemeyer fence I bought years ago that I never installed. Its brand new, still in the box.
If your interested, let me know. I'm in central NJ.

I put the delta 30" fence on my old crafstman.
I love it. I wish I would have done that years ago.

I have one on my Delta contractors. It made a so so saw into a decent saw. It slides easily, the tape measure is very accurate. I would say go for it. Take some measurements and check a floor modle to see if the mounting holes will line up with out to much hassel.

I have the T2 30" on a Delta hybrid saw and am well pleased with it. It's a Biesemeier lite; a bit less rigid when it comes to deflection from pressing laterally against the fence, but you have to push pretty hard to make that happen.
Mine slides effortlessly on its front and back rails, tape measure is easy to read and to set accurately within about 1/64". It has setup adjustments for getting the fence perpendicular to the table surface and for aligning to the miter slot or blade.
