I have successfully finished the professional training program in school for construction electricity but have yet to find a job. I am motivated, hard working and very enthusiastic about learning everything I can about electrical work.
Haven’t had any luck finding work here between being told they are looking for 3rd – 4th year apprentices, or they just hired, or they don’t hire apprentices.
Any opportunity would be welcome.

Head West, dude. My son-in-law is working in Kamloops, BC and the sparkies are screaming for guys. You can even hang out your own shingle in due course and live a very comfortable life!

I would love to ... unfortunately my GF has her career here and we have a house.I tried talking to her while I was in school about not buying a house in montreal and moving out west to establish our careers and she couldnt be away from her family...I thought about BC and alberta very seriously.... BC is beautiful.Guess I will have to scratch my way to the top here.thanks for the heads up.
No problem - if your GF is set on staying in Montreal and close to friends and family then she'd never be happy living 1000s of kms from home. And, by extension, you'd be miserable too. Besides, the cost of living is far cheaper in your neck of the woods anyway.
I like your positive attitude and I know it'll put you in good stead. Good luck to you - you've chosen a career that pay dividends for years to come.
Cheers!
