Are these staples usable for a shed roof, or anything else?
I have these old staples and staple gun which works fine. I know staples are not recommended for roofing anymore, but I already have them, so are they worth using? Do they have any use beyond that?

If it's not subject to code approval you could use them on anything you want. If you don't have high winds where you live and you're careful not to overdrive you might be OK with them. But real roofing nails are too cheap for it to be worth much risk, I wouldn't bother. I suppose there are places in the world that never have high wind, idk.
They use wide crown staples for attaching metal lath still today, but I don't know if your's are suitable for that or not.
If the shed roof is pretty small, like say under a single sheet, and the staples are long enough to peirce through the shingle, and go into the sheeting, then it would be "acceptable" to use, but not recommended. You can go by a roofing supplier and maybe other hardware stores, they should have roofing nails that you can buy in bulk, they're pretty inexpensive in bulk (not coiled up) and I'm sure you have a hammer laying around if you have a staple gun.
If you just live on a farm or not near any stores, in my opinion, the staples would be fine. Just be mindful that theyre long enough to go through the shingles and go all the way into the sheeting and that they don't go too deep into the shingles (Like i mentioned above)
