I have a 40 year old house sided with 32″ x 9″ asbestos shingles.
The local Home Depot sells replacement shingles that are fiber cement, 24″ x 12″.
I cannot find the old J channel used when these were installed.
It has a 1/4″ channel for the shingle and an edge to sit on the top of the previous course. The overlap between courses is 1″.
Any idea where I can get this channel as well as 32″ x 9″ shingles?
